# Enable, Disable, or Update Gating

Hubz allows you to control Gated Group Access to your Telegram group at any time. You can enable or disable token gating, or adjust access requirements, without disconnecting the group or losing your configuration.

All changes are managed from the **Manage Group** view in the Hubz app.

***

### Enable or Disable Token Gating

Gating can be turned on or off directly from the **Token Gating** section in **Manage Group** using the **Enabled** toggle.

When disabling token gating, Hubz will display a confirmation prompt explaining that:

* Members will no longer need to hold tokens or NFTs to access the group.
* Re-enabling gating may require a **24-hour grace period** before enforcement resumes.

Confirm to proceed, or cancel to keep gating active.

### Update Token-Gating Parameters

You can modify your access rules at any time while the group remains connected.

This includes:

* Changing the required token or NFT
* Adjusting the required amount
* Switching between **One-Time** and **Ongoing** verification
* Adding or removing additional tokens or conditions (AND / OR logic)
* Updating **Buy** or **Earn** access links

#### Steps

1. From **Manage Group**, tap the edit icon in the **Token Gating** section.
2. Update the desired parameters.
3. Tap **Save Token Gating** to apply the changes.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://hubz-1.gitbook.io/hubznetwork/core-modules/gated-group-access-setup/enable-disable-or-update-gating.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
